Thank you for downloading Nytwalk!

You'll probably soon find that as you download Nytwalk, it is an unfinished game. That's because it started in 2015 when I, Keiru, was little more than a young schoolgirl with a passion for writing and programming. As always, sometimes life can get in the way and that is exactly what happened with Nytwalk.

Nytwalk - as you can see - is unfinished. You'll likely come across some build errors when you have completed a route, but I can assure you that the first part of the game - despite the appearances - is sound. Please don't hesitate to repeat the game and try different choices and routes, because each of them has a unique impact on the story and can literally take you to a different part of the game. Nytwalk is incomplete and this "demo" is just a cut of the first few stages of production it had. In fact, the demo is only hosted for friends to see how far Nytwalk did come before it was cancelled. Now it serves as a grateful reminder and inspiration for what is yet to come.

I would like to move your attention to this relatively recent Instagram post right here, where I give thanks to many notable contributors to the project and set down the exciting fact that Nytwalk is due to be remade into a new Pixel RPG. Now I'm older and wiser and I'm definitely keen to bring Nytwalk 2.0 to life in the future. Here is the closure that Nytwalk 1.0 deserved.
